Jonathan Brinias

Principal

Jonathan is the Principal of Tambourine Systems and supports building owners, architects, developers, and project teams with building energy modelling, building-performance optimization, and technical project management.

He has 15 years of experience across engineering consulting, construction technology, project delivery, and operations, including 10 years of experience in Building Performance Engineering.

Jonathan is an engineer in good standing in British Columbia and Alberta. He holds an undergraduate degree in civil engineering and a masters degree in mechanical and industrial engineering from the University of Toronto, focused in energy systems and decision making.

He is passionate about enabling building projects meet their performance objectives economically. To supplement his practical experience, he is certified as a Project Management Professional, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, a Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst, ASHRAE Building Energy Modeling Professional, Certified Passive House Designer, and Registered Energy Advisor.
